RMG – Act of Entrustment to Mary Help of Christians
(ANS – Rome) – Exhorted by the Rector Major, father and center of unity of the Salesian Family, and in communion with the whole Church, the various groups that share the charism of Don Bosco have these days been pleading for the intercession of Mary Help of Christians to implore God for the cessation of the pandemic, relief for those afflicted by it and the eternal salvation of those whom the Lord has called to Himself. Today, March 24, the monthly commemoration of Mary Help of Christians, this spiritual journey finds fulfillment in the Act of Entrustment to Mary Help of Christians.
Don Bosco said many times: “It is impossible to get to Jesus without going through love for Mary”; “Mary has always been my guide. Whoever puts his trust in Her will never be disappointed”; “Trust in Mary Help of Christians and you will see what miracles are”; and again: “If you want to obtain graces from the Holy Virgin, do a novena.”
For this reason, following the footsteps of the Founder of the great tree of the Salesian Family, today, at individual and group levels, in homes and communities, even if at different times and in different languages, a single summons rises from all over the world.
The invitation for all, and especially to young people, as emphasized by the Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, is to recite the crown of the Holy Rosary and then pronounce the Act of Entrustment to Mary Help of Christians.
